What's up guys? So today on the podcast, we have a friend of mine, James Klingerman. He's going to be on the podcast with us. James is a, he's an old school black belt. He'll talk about when he started training, he started training back in the day. And, you know, when I was a white belt, who just got started, I met him for the first time in 2004 at my last white belt tournament. I met him. And then he then he and Mike, my coach at the time, Mike, were friends.

0:51.8

stuff that probably would have you, gotten most people out of it.

0:58.2

He basically just kept going, you know.

1:01.2

I mean, it's a substantial injury that did not come from jiu-jitsu.

1:05.3

He did not have any control over it.

1:06.6

And, you know, the crazy bastard kept going.

1:10.4

And he's super, like, lighthearted about it just he's kind

1:13.2

of very much like that's part of the thing and and he's he hasn't like you said and it hasn't let

1:18.5

it stop him one bit my favorite part of the podcast I would say one of my favorites is when we

1:23.7

asked some of these guys that are these OGs, old grapplers or older grapplers,

1:28.3

and we asked him like where they started training,

1:30.1

where their actual training facility was,

1:32.3

because it's usually not a standalone gym,

1:34.3

it's somewhere weird.
