Even if you don't know some of these words, did anything strike you about them?

For me, I noticed a lot of opposites, or at least a lot of clear differences in these descriptive words.

But do you know what they have in common?

All of them are taken from texts that describe a vampire.

That's right, depending on who you ask,

a vampire can be strong or frail, bloated, or thin, pale or dark.

So, where did vampire legends come from?

And how did we end up with all these different ways of describing the same creature?
