What's up you guys? I'm Haley and I'm Andrea and this is Inhuman.

0:04.3

Okay so Andrea you already know what case I'm covering today. I am excited to

0:33.5

cover this case because I actually didn't know a lot about it even though I do more about it than some other cases.

0:40.5

And I feel like I have heard it told on a couple other podcasts that I listened to but not many. I feel like it's not as like quote unquote popular, you know, right.

0:51.5

As some crime cases. So I'm excited to kind of get it out there especially because it is still unsolved and, you know, you never know what sharing can get you.

1:02.5

Okay and it is a pretty big case so to not have a ton of podcasts cover is kind of shocking because it is to me it's a huge case but.

1:10.5

Exactly I know. So today we're going to be talking about the snap chat murders as some people know it or the murder of Abigail Williams and Liberty German in Delphi Indiana.

1:23.5

I did double check with my friends that live in Indiana that it's Delphi. I was pretty sure that I wanted to double check.

1:30.5

I sent a voice message to my friend last night. I was like, is it Delphi and she was like, yeah, don't worry.

1:36.5

And the reason I wanted to cover this case specifically was because I was actually living in Indiana when this happened.

1:42.5

So he didn't know I went to Purdue University, which is in Indiana. And this actually happened the winter of my sophomore year at Purdue.

1:51.5

So I was living on campus in West Lafayette and Delphi is like about a 30 minute drive from West Lafayette and I actually knew somebody who worked in the business school office who actually like lived and commuted from Delphi.

2:07.5

So like it wasn't just the next town over I actually knew somebody who lived there and it was you know a little too close for comfort 30 minutes is not far.

2:18.5

So like I remember hearing about this and kind of watching it unfold from when the girls went missing to when they found their bodies and we were like kind of freaked out because they didn't know who did it.

2:31.5

They didn't have anybody like in custody. It really wasn't that far from where we were.

2:37.5

So you know it stuck with me because obviously because I was there.

2:43.5

And I actually like wasn't really into true crime back when I first heard about it. I didn't really get into true crime till after I graduated college.

2:52.5

I of course knew like some of the details and like saw some of the news reports but other than that I didn't really like dive into it.

3:00.5

And you know I would like chat about it with my friends but because I wasn't like I hadn't found true crime podcasts or documentaries really or anything yet.

3:11.5

So now that I'm like totally a true crime fanatic. I was like all in with the research on this to learn about more of the details and it just like I learned so much that I didn't know even though I was literally in a town 30 minutes from where this happened.

3:27.5

That's so crazy.

3:29.5

I know and I am going to just give a trigger warning because this is about kids. These girls were young. So just you know.
