Even though the show is about firsthand paranormal encounters, that I consider to be credible,

I'd say a lot of the time, most of the smaller paranormal stories I hear usually can be

chalked up to somebody being scared or paranoid in imagining things.

The imagination is very powerful.

I'm talking about people that just think they heard a bump in the night.

They think they saw something out of the corner of their eye.

That type of stuff.

It happens to me, it happens to all of us.

And honestly, you'd be surprised how many people have emailed me saying that they think

listening to the podcast might have caused something to happen to them.

Like after they turned off other world, they thought they heard something or they thought

they saw something out of the corner of their eye.

I get those emails a lot.

And whenever I get one, I tell them, you guys have nothing to worry about.

I mean, I'm the one that records this show and nothing's happening to me.

So if you ever find yourself wondering about that, I'd say you're safe.

But anyway, when I first came across the story for today's episode, I thought it might

be exactly what I've just been talking about.

A case of people being a little paranoid and basically scaring themselves.

The guy who emailed me said that his wife was raised very religious.

In fact, she was so religious that they didn't share a bed until after they were married.
