Hey, if you struggle with loneliness this time of year, a lot of people do,

and a lot of people struggle with loneliness, period.

And we've talked about that a lot on the show or the last year.

It just gets to be a bigger and bigger, they call it an epidemic of loneliness.

I saw something that partially explains this, I think.

It's just part of the mix.

Okay.

Because I've been trying to say, if you do experience that, please don't go on a guilt trip about

it. that please don't go on a guilt trip about it like it must be failing like somehow it's very

pervasive in our culture our culture is set up for it yeah yes so I saw something interesting

at least I thought it was interesting in 1960 one out of every 20 people lived alone okay

now it's one in three oh yeah I mean this is just how it's different. So I started digging

around some more and it said the most common household, this is back 100 years ago, normal for humans.

The most common household contains seven or more people. Now it's two.

The typical age difference back in the day, back at that time, was between the youngest and the oldest in a given household.

The average was 38 years.

Wow.

So you always have this intergenerational thing going on.

It's healthy.
