I want to ask you about this rhetorical point that I've seen emerge increasingly on the right and

Josh opened with this which is this idea that both

Democrats are trying to do race war and teach your children that America was founded to protect slavery

I mean yes, but okay

But also that he is less racist than Democrats because Tim Ryan won't debate you because you're a

Black woman and he fundamentally doesn't respect you because you're a black woman that little two step

That he returned to later in the debate again. He really thought he had a sexy point there was fascinating to me like in the same breath

What did you make about yeah? I mean, you know

They're trying to distort things for sure

But I do think that we we have to focus on the fact that you know my opponent Tim Ryan hasn't debated me

And so in not doing that

He has opened up a lane for people again to fill a vacuum you create a vacuum

People will fill it with whatever they feel like so we need to be real

Are we are we the party of democracy? Are we better than the Republicans?

If so, let's get out there and talk about why right and let's not let these guys who have no vision for our country

Dominate I'm not gonna allow that that's why I'm in this and for sure, you know people you I enter this race like oh Tim Ryan's already in it

He's got I don't care. He can't win

He can't win because some of the things that we're talking about that you have to really be about anti corruption stuff

He's taking corporate pack money

He's been one of the biggest takers of lobbyist money and that is what it's gonna take to be able to make an authentic argument to the people of Ohio

And yeah, I just you know, I can't I just can't continue to watch us do the same thing and lose

It's so obvious because the jig is up regular people know what's going on and they're not gonna fall for it
