the granite capital of the world, the area naturally attracted hardworking men, looking

to build homes and provide good lives for their families, but over the years the granite

worked wang and the makeup of the town shifted.

Although Barry managed to maintain a general sense of timelessness, with its idealed mainstreet

in downtown fit to be the image on a postage stamp, an increase in drug use and crime couldn't

help but change the small American town, and one of the people who knew that first hand
