And now, the Grand Napier. Releasing the podcast a couple of hours later than normal because I stayed up until

about gosh 2.15 in the morning, Eastern time, waiting to see what the result would be from a Major League Baseball in their talks.

And I'll get to that in just a moment. But I wanted to start off, you know, there are certain guys that get it, there's certain people that

get it, I shouldn't just say guys, guys, gals, people that really understand what they're

about, who they're about, their role, and Harrison Barnes is one of those guys.

Yeah, I have so much respect for him in the short time that I got to know him with the Kings. He released a tweet praying for Sacramento, the family and

loved ones of those lost, the church, the community, yet another senseless

act of violence. He of course is on the road with the Kings,

but he understands the significance of what is going on

back in Sacramento.

Obviously, many of you who listen to my podcast

are from there, and we talk about the violence.

We talk about how awful things are in the

world right now but just something as simple as that from Harrison Barnes just

resonated with me because again he's one of the guys

that truly gets it he's a consummate professional I've said that many times in the

past on this podcast, podcast.

But it also got me thinking about everything else

that's going on in the world,

and I'm going to talk about that in a moment.
