Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King.

0:04.7

Each week I will review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King and the chronological order of publication.

0:10.1

This week I examine an entry in King's collection that might rank as number one in his least talked about novel category.

0:18.7

In fact, if you have read it, I'm sure that you've probably

0:21.1

forgotten about it. And for reasons that I'll get into throughout the course of this episode,

0:25.3

I believe that this particular novel never latched onto the public the way that many of his

0:30.8

other works did. Like I said, I'm going to be able to get into that into much more detail.

0:53.1

1:14.9

story around her.

1:16.7

As I sat down to reread Rosematter, I realized that I didn't remember much about it.

1:23.4

I remembered Norman, the abusive cop.

1:25.6

I remembered the painting, it being an entry to what I believed was midworld from the dark tower, but now I'm not so sure.

1:33.3

I remember a bracelet or a band that went around Rose's bicep, and that's about it.

1:39.3

So I'm just as guilty when it comes to forgetting Rose Matter as anybody else.

1:45.0

This was an interesting novel for me to revisit because it was almost as if I was reading it again for the first time.

1:51.0

And as soon as I was done, I wish I could have forgotten it all over again.
