Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi everyone, it's Sally and it's a Thursday afternoon for me. I'm sitting in Oxford and I have

been thinking all week about all of the different people who've written me in the letters I've

gotten. And I just think that you are going to love the launch week that we have in our book

because I was praying the other day and I thought, you know, Lord, I can't write. I can't be on

screens. I can't be on my computer right now. But I feel like I really want to encourage all of my

sweet friends and all of these people who are being faithful to sharing the launch team. I can't even

go there and read all the things I'm trying to be a really good girl. But as I was praying, the Lord

said, well, you can't read, but you can talk. So I have had the best week because I've been interviewing

lots of different parents, different people who are in our own lives that people who've raised

their children or moms of young children. And just a little mini podcast that I can't wait to

share with you the two weeks of our launch for our book. And so I'm trying to do my part, but can I

just tell you I have got over 700 of the most wonderful people helping me with my launch of the

new book, the life-giving parent, my publisher had flown in yesterday from Chicago and we had such a

fun day. When anyone comes to my house, I always make sure that they get to go to CS Lewis's house

with hearing all the details, seeing all of his rooms, seeing the places that he wrote the books and

and some of the ways that he lived. And then I took them on a walk down. It was a wonderful, beautiful

walk down the all the historical old buildings where you see the gated gardens of the schools.
