Would you join me as we pray, Lord?

Blessed is the man that trust in you, Lord.

Would we be that man that puts our complete trust and faith in you, Lord?

May we stand on your word as we're gathered together with family to celebrate the New Year's Lord.

And Lord, we don't know what tomorrow brings or if there will be a tomorrow.

So help us to be bold, Lord, to share the truth about your son, Jesus. May we be empowered through

your word. We thank you so much that we have a time to gather together and a place,

such a beautiful place that you have given us, Lord. Speak to us in your word, we pray. In Jesus'

name, amen. This name, amen. And amen, and good morning. I welcome. You can be seated. Hope your

Christmas was blessed. And if we're still here,

I hope that your New Year's is the best. That rhymed. You notice that, right? Yeah. Before we get

started, I want to thank you for a couple things. First, said this often this is a very giving and

generous and thoughtful church and I just want to say thank you to all of you

who are very thoughtful you're very gracious to me to my family generous with

us so I just wanted to thank you all for all that you, you know,

gifted us during the holidays. I thought about, you know, sending out 1,528 thank you

cards, but that wasn't going to work. So this is the thank you card right here. I'd like you to

take a look at it. Secondly and more seriously, and we praise the Lord for this. I want to thank you

for your continued prayers for my wife. And this is really more for the benefit of the online

church that have been asking for updates.

For those of you who don't know, she's been battling an aggressive form of breast cancer.

And by the grace of God and because of the power of prayer, she is doing much better.
