Lord, we thank you, Lord.

We thank you that no matter what the world tries to do to take this holiday away from us and turn it to the world, Lord.

Christ is at the center of Christmas, Lord.

So we praise your name.

May we be vessels and shining lights to those around us, Lord,

especially our family and those who are close, Lord.

Lord, when we think about others this time as some,

although some are celebrating happiness and joy,

some are going through hard times, Lord.

So would we be mindful of others and give them love and grace?

We thank you so much for this time in your word, Lord.

Would you speak to us, Lord?

As we were reminded of this Christmas story and all you've done for us.
