Thanks for joining. We're about to start the book of James, but before we dive in, finishing up

Hebrews, I wanted to give you all a quick reminder that volume two of this year's guided journal is now available

on Amazon. So if you were reading along throughout the first half of the year, your journal's

definitely out of pages. You can get a new one on Amazon. Just search, join the journey journal,

volume two. And if you've never checked out the journal, now might be a great time to pick one up.

For me personally, I often am easily distracted when I read my Bible or pray.

Writing down my study notes and writing out my prayers really helps me stay engaged as I seek to

meet with the Lord. We'll start studying James 1 on Friday. Well, tomorrow. So I'd really encourage

you to text your community group or your family, invite them to read the book of James with you.

The beauty of Join the journey is that we all get to read the Bible together. And now is a great

time to invite your community group, family members, friends, neighbors, or even classmates

to read along with us.

Plus, James is only five chapters. It's a short challenge. Are your friends and family up for it?

Day one of five starts tomorrow. But today, we're wrapping up the book of Hebrews. We're in Hebrews 13,

and I want to ask you, do you remember your leaders? Do you remember your leaders?

Throughout my life, I've had a lot of leaders invest in me, and some have made really positive,

memorable impacts, specifically when it comes to my faith. I think back to my youth pastor all

throughout middle school and high school or my high school

dance coach. She was a believer in a public school and she encouraged me to share my faith with
