Lord, like everything in this world,

so many things have been perverted.

I pray that our worship here at this place at this church, Lord, will be something that's pleasing to you, that brings you

glory.

So thank you for this time of worship.

Lord, pray that our hearts would be ready to receive your word.

We thank you so much that you've given us such a beautiful place to gather in, Lord.

So would you speak to us in your word?

Continue to give him straight, Lord.

So glad you're here. I just want to say before, and by the way, those of you online, we didn't forget about you. We love you. We're so glad you're joining with us. But to someone want to say before we jump in, I love your guys' love for God's word. And I love to see you guys out on a Thursday night

for a Bible study in the Old Testament, a book of Amos that nobody's heard of. He's not famous at all. And I just love your love for God's word and I love

your hunger and thirst for the bread of life and the water of life. And I deem it is such a privilege

and such an honor to teach the Word of God.

And God has called me.

It's a dual gifting, by the way, a pastor teacher.

I find the teaching part of that gifting a little bit easier than the pastor side of that gifting.

But I'm never happier my wife always gives me a hard time about this but I'm never happier than when I'm
