Hi, everyone. It's Sally and I am recording this on Friday afternoon, good Friday before

my Monday podcast and I'm glad to tell you that I'm going to begin returning to some of the

final chapters of Own Your Life and I've kind of been gone from America and have moved two times

and had the eye thing, had a new grandbaby, have so many other things that have been going on

my life. So I'm sorry that I had to leave this for a little while but I didn't want to go into

this chapter without at least having a little bit of emotional time to pray about it and to think

about how I might make this the most relevant chapter for us as we go into the end part of Own Your

Life. We're going to be talking in the next few weeks about owning your role as a mom, as a mom

and dad, owning your role as a person who creates life in your home, so many other things but I think

it's so important as we go into this particular chapter. I'm going to be talking on chapter 13

and what I'll be talking about is pursuing life's most defining commitment, owning your choice to

live. I love the whole idea of Mother Teresa her life that she invested her life in the dying

because she saw value in them and she knew that one of their biggest needs before they died,

even when they were deathly ill, the oxygen of their whole lives was to be livened and she says,

sorry I'm not good at reading yet. I'm reading with one eye. The hunger for love is much more

difficult to remove than the hunger for bread. I've been watching precious little

Lillian become attached to my daughter Sarah. They live down the street from me and so I get to
