November 17th is, on November 17th, I celebrated three years alcohol-free. A year ago, on November 17th,

think that there's a coincidence that these two things

coincide. Also having to coincide with the date of my first date with my ex-husband,

23 years ago. I don't know, man. I don't know what it is about this day, but it is powerful.

I think that, you know, I have talked a lot about what sobriety has meant to me over the years and how my

drinking increased after my divorce and how much I was drinking to numb

the trauma and so much of the stuff that I was I mean I was really blind to willfully blind to

I think just trying so hard to not feel about a month after I quit drinking was when

the world kind of crashed in on me emotionally, psychologically. And I continued to do so,

you know, over the course of the next couple of years.
