Chris Bizignano. Well, it's what? We got two days till the end of February. We're about a week out from kind of a free agency frenzy around the league.

And right now, we still have Jones and Barclay not signed.

You know, the rumors are flying all over the place with Jones, dude.

I trust you, right?

But then you hear all these other things, and it's like, what the hell do you?

Who knows, right?

But are you surprised that you're here? Like, what's amazing is, Chris, like, you're hearing adamantly from one side that, no, he's asking 45. And then the other, it's like, that is completely unsubstantiated. But I guess that's what kind of happens, right? And we haven't been in that situation in a while where, you know, we're resigning someone for that kind of money. but I don't know what to think, but, I mean, you know, and I know what I would want to spend on him. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out and what he actually gets and if the Giants franchise tag him, but this is just, you know, we're in limbo right now, man. Jerry, all I could say to that is, who cares what nobody's asking for?

All it matters is what he gets, what Joe Shane thinks he's worth, and all that.

I just don't get it.

I just sit back and laugh at people going crazy about, oh, I can't believe Jones has the balls I ask for this.

Who cares what he hacks for? That doesn't mean he's going to get it. It's a negotiation. They ask for her, you know. It just kills me to see so much slander on Daniel Jones because he's asking what. Some people say he's asking for $40 million. Who cares if he's asking for $90 million? You think he's going to get that right now jerry as we sit here doing this podcast you think he's going to get 45 million

it it's like a 20 percent thing chris for me okay that's fair that's fair dude i'm not going to totally discount that out, 40, right, if he gets that. But I'm going to ask you this, Jerry, okay? I put this on Twitter the other day. Do you trust Joe Shane? Yes. Yes. Is there any reason not to trust him yet? No. So if he turned around and Daniel in three years down his cap gets $40 million, okay?

Only if he gets $40 million in 2023.

All right.

But it doesn't, but it counts 33 against the cap or whatever hell they do with this.

I'm no cap.
