I was just there.

In fact, our last episode when we had Richard and Billy Hughes on, I had popped into the city into New York for just a very quick trip to see some watches. And I will be sharing my experiences there. It was LVMH Watch Week. And if anybody had listened to the last episode, they know that the reason it was in New York was because it was supposed to be in L.A. But after the fires, L.A.M.H., I think, did the right thing and decided it wasn't the right

moment to have this watch celebration. Apparently, they'd been planning it for eight months. It was

supposed to be at some spectacular villa, I think, in Bel Air, which Bel Air, you know, didn't suffer anything in the sense of the fires. They weren't,

there were no homes in Bel Air that were burned, but it is really awfully close to the

palisades. So I think they did the right thing. I froze my tookus off in New York City for

two ways and now I'm back in L.A. and getting ready to go to Tucson. And we can talk a little bit about the end, about what I'm looking forward to seeing or what, you know, outlook is for the gem shows this year. But I'm happily at home this week. And how about you? Is it still as frozen as it was when I popped into town?

Yes, it's extremely cold here. But it's a little better, I would say. So where did they end up having it at New York, LVMH? Well, I'll tell you, they ended up having it at the landmark, the Tiffany and Company landmark, because of course, that's LVMH. And they had it on the eighth floor. So I had gone to the, you know, the opening party for the landmark, if anybody

remembers back in 2023 and April. And they had opened up the landmark up to floor seven, which is,

you know, the retail floor is essentially seven, I believe is the watch floor with the Pattec-Pelip

salon. The eighth floor is utterly spectacular. It's sort of a terrace exhibition space. One of the stunning things about it is

you're up there, so you're eight floors up above the corner of 57th and Fifth Avenue. And it does

feel like it is LVMH's world, and we're just all just living in it, making our way. Because if you
