Summary

Today is mine & Pete’s 30th Anniversary. If there’s anything I’ve learned in thirty years, it is this: Marriage does not “fix” you. Marriage does not heal you. Nope, marriage does not fix your problems. It reveals them. Whenever two broken people join together to become one, you simply double the brokenness. When I tell you that our marriage is a miracle, I mean OUR MARRIAGE IS A MIRACLE. The fact that we’re still standing – happier than we’ve ever been – THIRTY years later, is simply the result of the grace, mercy & kindness of God. 0:31.2	having conversation. I get asked to public speak a lot and I
0:35.5	always decline because I am not a public speaker. I think about the Bethmores and

0:43.9	Priscilla Shires and they stand and speak and it's not necessarily a conversation
0:49.1	they teach us, they talk to us, they make it sound so personal, but it's not a conversation that they're

0:59.1	And I feel like that's what I'm about to do. So let me set the scene. I'm home by myself,
1:04.6	Pizza Bible Study, he'll be home in just a little bit. We're going to record this
1:08.0	podcast tonight, but I was sitting here thinking maybe I could just kind of tell the first part of my story.
1:14.8	So I'm sitting at my kitchen table and I am talking to thin air.

1:24.8	23 years of of talking to a microphone is the first time I've ever talked into a
