Summary

On March 13, 2017, 21-year-old Travis Graham brought his girlfriend’s 3-year-old daughter, Charlette Dawkins, to the emergency room, claiming she had fallen down the stairs while throwing a temper tantrum. Despite doctors’ best efforts, Charlette was pronounced dead the following day. Doctors told the family there were signs the little girl had been abused for a prolonged period, including bruises and healing rib fractures. In spite of a cloud of suspicion hanging over Travis, he and Charlette’s mother were married less than a year later. In July of 2018, Travis was arrested for participating in several armed robberies, at which point he finally came clean about what really happened to Charlette on that horrible day 16 months before. Soon after, he was charged with the little girl’s murder.
This is the heartbreaking story of Charlette Dawkins.
