Welcome to another edition of Best On Tour this week, where we talk about what happened on and off the water in the world of professional bass fishing.

And Dave, we had multiple circuits in multiple states with impressive catches. We have veteran anglers

getting their first tour level wins with particular circuits. We had record breaking wins in

the Bass Master opens. We had record breaking wins in the Bassmaster opens.

We have several upcoming championship and pro circuit events and a big announcement to close

out the show.

We are in full swing as it pertains to professional tournament bass fishing, open level bass fishing, a lot of

stuff going on and we have a lot to cover today. So let's get started. Let's kick things off with a long

awaited first BPT MLF win for the man, the myth, the legend. I knew it. Former classic champ, Taka Hira

Mori gets the job done on Lake Hartwell in the Bass Pro Tour event. And the greatest thing about

it, Matt, he did it his way. If you watched the live coverage there at the BPT, Taka Hiro Mori,

a final day catch, 12 bass, 36 pounds, 6 ounces on a Z-man jackhammer,

up shallow, dirty water, up the Tugalu River, and man, what a feat going up against all of the

live scopers. Nobody thought it could be done, but Taka Hira gets done his way and takes home.

Big check for his effort and more importantly, his first Bass Pro Tour win.

After a couple events in the Bass Pro Tour there, Jacob Walker leading the way in the Angler of the Year,

familiar name looking to increase on his record of BPT angler of the year, Jacob Wheeler
