This week, we're broadcasting live from the Chenard Institute discussing the 1988 supernatural horror film, Hellbound, Hellraiser 2.

This film was directed by Tony Randall from a screenplay by Peter Atkins

and a story credited to Clive Barker.

Released a little over a year after its predecessor, Hellbound Hellraiser 2 reunites much

of the cast and crew in a direct continuation to the story of the Cotton family.

This film provides an expansion of the lore and mythology surrounding the Cinebites,

while also maintaining the grisly entanglement of pain and pleasure

that the series is known for. With interesting concepts, impressive creature design, and elaborate

gore effects, it's no wonder this film is often listed as a favorite sequel among horror fans.

I don't remember the first time I seen the movie, but I remember that I had seen it.

I want to say once or twice,

because there is stuff that I do remember, like I remembered beat for beat happening in the movie.

Oh, really? Yeah, but, uh, there was a lot of stuff. I was like, oh, shit, I don't remember

this happening. So it, I don't want to say it was kind of a fresh watch, but I mean,

that's about half and half. Okay. But I did enjoy this. I did like this movie. I think I was,

I was confused a little bit sometimes. Other than that, I mean, it wasn't too bad. It wasn't too

bad. I still think I like the first one a little more, but this one wasn't bad.
