Hello and welcome to the Fizzle Show.

Hey guys, it's a holiday in the States, and we wanted to say happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

So this is a short and sweet and special episode of the Fizzle Show.

Listen, the settlers, when they came to America, they took some huge risks in doing so.

And I think a lot of us forget how significant some of the risks we take are, trying to create our businesses, being independent, creative entrepreneurs.

I also am on that journey taking risks,

and I'm thankful for the joys and the fears and the excitement of it.

I'm also thankful for the team here at Fizzle,

dedicating our lives to making the crazy life of every entrepreneur out there

a little bit easier.

And I'm thankful for our members, putting their arse on the line to build something that

they care about, as well as you, the podcast listener, putting one foot in front of the other,

traversing the up and downs of motivation and humility.

And one of the things we believe here in Fizzle is this.

You're not entitled to anything.

There are no guarantees.

You can't expect to succeed.

But you can guarantee that you keep developing.

You keep learning.

Keep publishing, making, trying, reaching, helping.

I'm a dad, so I kind of think of it this way. You cannot guarantee that your child is going to be smart, helpful, and kind, but you can commit to the work of parenting.

My son is a total a-hole sometimes. Absolutely no guarantee he won't be a psychopath.
