| 0:07.3 | Three weeks ago, I managed to get Collier Landry's episode The Brass Ring recorded a bit |
| 0:11.5 | early, and so Beck and I had some free time on Sunday night. |
| 0:14.9 | We were hanging out upstairs, which is kind of a rare occurrence because the kids normally |
| 0:19.3 | take over the television in the living room, and Beck and I hang out downstairs in our |

| 0:24.3 | And on that day, there was a huge thunderstorm. |
| 0:27.1 | So we're sitting there, and all of a sudden we started hearing this whining kind of siren |

| 0:32.6 | So I got up and looked downstairs to see what it was all about, and when I did, there |
| 0:36.5 | was a foot of water in our den. |
| 0:39.0 | We soon discovered that the sound we heard was actually a furnace trying to operate in |
| 0:43.1 | about a foot of water because it's summer when we had the air conditioner on. |
| 0:47.1 | So as you can imagine, I screamed a lot of expletives, ran downstairs and into our laundry room, |
| 0:52.8 | which has a door that leads to the backyard, and what I saw, no homeowner ever wants to |

| 0:58.9 | Water was streaming in from the door about three feet from the floor, and not only was |
| 1:03.5 | our den level flooded, the water was flowing down to the basement, which is where we had |
| 1:07.7 | a bedroom, and a month ago the studio was down there. |
| 1:11.9 | So we went into a full on troubleshooting mode and started assessing the situation, and |
| 1:16.2 | then put in an emergency call to our insurance company. |
