Hello, and welcome back to Franklin Covey's on Leadership Series.

I'm your weekly host, Scott Miller, 25-year associate inside the Franklin Covey Company.

And each week we like to bring to you another point of view on the topic of leadership,

something Franklin Covey is well known after our four decades as an international leader

in organizational development and performance improvement.

And then occasionally we like to twist things up.

Most of you know by now that I sometimes suffer through the joy that is parenthood,

Stephanie and I are parents to three young boys that are six, eight, and ten.

And to my wife's horror, all of them got my own personality and energy level, perhaps

someday that will serve them well, but in the meantime is creating total pandemonium

in the Miller House.

Now you probably also know that by watching this weekly, our three boys and I go to Barnes

and Noble every Saturday, at least when it's open during the pandemic.

And they get to pick out a book or two because we're voracious readers in the Miller Household.

And a few weeks ago, I stumbled on the book, Ready or Not, parenting our kids to thrive

in an uncertain and rapidly changing world.

And of course, as a struggling parent and leader, I snatched it up, devoured it over the

last couple of weeks.

And to my delight, Dr. Madeline Levine has agreed to join us to top all things parenting,

which we know actually has some transfer over into our leadership roles in the workplace.
