Microsoft that company of companies that leader among leaders has an accessory for the

Apple iPad.

I mean, we have a lot of other stuff to cover.

Well, this is Microsoft Insider.

Yeah, right. Let's just lead with this one quickly.

Okay, go ahead. We're always interested in things that stem from leaked information or otherwise surprising.

And Microsoft making an accessory for an Apple product is particularly surprising because it wasn't so many years ago that you

would be shunned for carrying an apple device on the Microsoft campus.

Now those days have changed, days are gone especially with the what

what happened to Microsoft soon and when what happened to the Windows

phone products for example but it's still a little surprising that the Microsoft website shows a touch cover keyboard suitable for Apple's iPad.

Now the touch cover is an accessory that's commonly been sold with the Microsoft Surface, ever since the

surface began, even with the Surface RT.

It's hard to know if this is something that's forthcoming or if it was a scrapped project,

but it's mentioned on a page listing products that have integrated lithium batteries included.
