I want to take a moment to remind you that you are not alone.

Your life matters and God has an incredible purpose for you. I know this because he says so in Jeremiah

29.11. He says, for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you,

plans to give you hope and a future. You are seen, you are important, and your life matters. And our team here at the

Forgotten Initiative is cheering you on. I also want to let you know in on something that's going

on in my life. I am writing a book, a book on leadership. I started this journey at the beginning of the year. I've been thinking about it

for a while and I finally made the start. And I'm sharing my progress on my new Instagram account

at Jamie Cabe author. That's at Jamie J-A-M-I-K-A-E-B author. This is a brand-new adventure for me. I really do not know what I'm doing,

but that's how D-F-I started to. And God has done incredibly more than I ever planned in our ministry,

and I just am believing that he's going to do the same through this process.

I am writing to leaders and to those who have influenced, so that is you.

Too often we put pressure on ourselves, don't we?

We put pressure like we need to have it all figured out before we step in.

Or we need to have all the answers.

This is simply not true. Instead, we get to learn.

Let us be humble. Let us be real with one another and learn through our successes and our failures.

So in a nutshell, that is what this book is about. And I would love to have you join me over at Jamie
