Summary

This week's Declassified looks at which company had the top heels as the calendar switched from 1993 into 1994. Each company would be holding a strong duo on top of the "bad side" but what factors and what made each standout. We go through all the factors that led to the WWF, WCW and ECW kickoff to 1994 and see who had the top heels going into January and beyond.

All right.

Right here, right now, this is an all new episode of Declassified.

And you're listening to this all new Declassified here, of course, on your favorite podcasting app and all around the world. And if you didn't know by

0:21.9

now, my name is Chad and every single week, we take a walk back in time and we go back and look at

0:28.2

the glory days of wrestling. We go back to that new generation era, the declassified era. It encompasses

0:35.3

all the federations now, not just the WWF, but we're going to look at

early part of 1994 and kind of see where the power lies, as the macho man used to say,

1:03.2

and maybe who had the advantage in the wrestling landscape in the early part of 1994

and where we were going to be going into that calendar year

1:13.3

because a lot was going to be happening that year coming off of maybe a lackluster year for

some in 1993. Maybe the interest was starting to wane. If you listen to any new generation

1:26.8

era guest we've had on, this is the time where

1:30.0

people start to kind of tap out. Many of our friends who've come on have said that, and it's fine.

1:35.7

We don't hold that against them. We don't make that any reason to not welcome them onto

1:41.7

the broadcast airwaves.

1:49.3

But it seems like 1993 was the time if you were around during that point.

1:51.9

You did seem to walk away.

1:56.1

But 1994 might have been the time you missed because of that.

1:57.6

And that's unfortunate.
