now, my name is Chad and every single week, we take a walk back in time and we go back and look at

the glory days of wrestling. We go back to that new generation era, the declassified era. It encompasses

all the federations now, not just the WWF, but we're going to look at

a little WCW today. We're going to look at a little ECW today. We're going to look at the early

part of 1994, a little bit of January, 1994, to be exact. We're going to look at some of the

storylines more along the lines of the heels of the

early part of 1994 and kind of see where the power lies, as the macho man used to say,

and maybe who had the advantage in the wrestling landscape in the early part of 1994

and where we were going to be going into that calendar year

because a lot was going to be happening that year coming off of maybe a lackluster year for

some in 1993. Maybe the interest was starting to wane. If you listen to any new generation

era guest we've had on, this is the time where

people start to kind of tap out. Many of our friends who've come on have said that, and it's fine.

We don't hold that against them. We don't make that any reason to not welcome them onto

the broadcast airwaves.

But it seems like 1993 was the time if you were around during that point.

You did seem to walk away.

But 1994 might have been the time you missed because of that.

And that's unfortunate.
