I can't even say it again. And this was suggested by a listener, but they did not leave their name, but thank you so much for sending this in. I had never heard this case.

Maybe probably because it's a Canadian case, but nonetheless I feel like it's a pretty big one in the true crime community I would think.

Yeah, I feel like I've heard the name, but I can't, I don't know if I've ever actually heard the case. Okay, yeah, I really can't remember ever hearing it.

So, and it's a doozy, so go ahead and strap on your doozy pants because it's rough. All right.

So on April 14th, 2014, a group of friends had a little party at their house in the Northwest neighborhood of Brentwood near the University of Calgary campus in Alberta, Canada.

For a second, I forgot that you literally just told me that this was in Canada, and I was like, oh, she's gonna say UCLA because Brentwood is like the UCLA town in California.

I was like, I like for some reason as soon as you said Brentwood, I was like, okay, UCLA, and then you didn't say UCLA. And I was like, what?

Even though you literally just said it was here.

Oh, yeah, Canada. Yeah.

The blue and gray split level home was often referred to by the University students as the Butler Mansion.

The group was celebrating the final days of classes at the University. Amongst this group of friends were Lawrence Hong, who was an aspiring urban planner.

Whoa.

Yeah, I was like, what the heck? But yeah, they like, yeah, I'll explain it later, and it actually just makes so much sense.

So I feel like I know what it is, but I also feel like you just don't hear that very often. So it's like, no, actually hear it.

Yeah, I've never heard that like job title ever. So I don't know if that's Canadian thing. Is it, is it a Canadian thing?

Josh Hunter, who was a talented, who was a talented drummer, Kaitlin also referred to as Katie Paris, who was an accomplished dancer.

Zachariah Wrathwell, a gifted musician, a little now-maltong time, and Jordan Segeras, who was, according to many sources, quote, well on his way to becoming a humanitarian.
