And today we bring you another special episode.

This time, it's a live episode that we recorded on June 5th, 2019

at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art at the University of Nevada Las

Vegas and this episode is brought to you by the UNLV Department of Art and

the Barrick Museum of Art. Thank you so much for having us. It was an

incredible time just to be in an auditorium full of our friends, our family,

a long-time Latinos who lunch listeners, a lot of people that have been on the

podcast before and yeah the the recording I will admit at some point there is

some feedback noise here and there some buzzing at some

point there is some feedback noise here and there some buzzing so if you're listening in headphones

it might be a better idea to save this one for the car or for when you're you know

you're cleaning the house on on the weekend because so you know it's

not buzzing in your ear it sounds a lot better coming from computer speakers or from

regular speakers so just a warning on that. You'll start hearing that

around like 30 minutes into the recording. It was just such a great time but we

couldn't not share this episode. So thank you to everybody that showed up and I'm just we're

just gonna get right into it. We start off with introductions by the

director of the Marjorie Beric Museum of Art, Alicia Curlin, and then Marcus Siven, the department chair from the Department of Art at UNLV,

also does a short intro. You'll hear her voice, but I just want to let you all know that

the Torah Erika Abad from UNLV is also there. She's our guest of honor. She had this

great idea to dive into queer Latin X TV shows. So we're going to talk about some of my favorites and kind of dissect them.
