She's getting Dante all riled up.

But we're all riled up about this, about this collab, not only to discuss this particular subject matter with Stacy who I you know consider an

authority as pertains appreciation for this film but also it behooves us to make her

deeply uncomfortable in the intro just to really

underline the significance of Stacy's contribution to horror journalism and

horror analysis and horror inquiry is long before I was in this game

I was following her blog and this is back when you know the internet was the wild west

but you know there were kind of accredited institutions providing

analysis. There were blogs doing so, but there was this one personal blog that had such top-notch quality writing, like better than a lot of the

super polished institutions were putting out and that was Stacy's final girl blog and so like I've known

Stacy ponder's name it has been synonymous with horror journalism for as long as

I've been in the game I've been a fan long before I was a collaborator because yes I scooped her for

Rumorg magazine where she is a columnist and now we have her on the

podcast it's a big fucking deal and we never have guests on this podcast and we are so honored and so excited that you can be here and to be talking about this film.

I mean there's no other film I would rather be talking about.

And we have wanted to do this movie since it came out since Andrea and I saw it together and then

you know the content and all the writing you've done about Susperia 2018 it was like we can't do this
