It has been a weird summer. Yeah it's getting hotter and hotter not that global warming is a thing because that's a controversial thing to say.

Don't worry about it. But yeah, Toronto was also hit by a crazy flood and so acts of nature are kind of on my mind. Yeah, it's not getting better. I was reading

the other day that are basically horrible conservative government in Ontario who

are trying to tear through the green belt,

which is this area that kind of surrounds and protects Toronto and like a lot of Ontario

that is supposed to help us weather these huge storms which are only going to become more and more

common. This conservative government is just trying to strip it and like build

through it and it's going to get worse for us. Sounds about right. And if I've learned anything from these two films

that we're going to be talking about today it's that there can be some good ideas

but these ideas are almost always compromised. Yes especially when commerce and capital means are entered into the mix.

And you keep thinking, not this time, I'm going to do a different.

No.

This time it will work. The definition of insanity is not learning from past mistakes and these times are fucking insane you guys.

Yeah, I think it's also a good note to say that like times have always been kind of crazy kind of wild kind of out there

So coming out of that and seeing that and then of course watching the aftermath and the hot takes and how people are dealing
