Hey everybody it's Brendan we have got a jam-pack show for you this week a bunch of

interviews we did with international left-wingers and friends at the DSA

Convention from France and Portugal and the UK.

It's a lot of education, a lot of information,

but we do also have a lot of laughs

with our last interview in particular, Malcolm from Momentum.

One thing before we start, I'm recording this introduction on Saturday night, August 12th,

and by now you probably know that earlier today in Charlottesville, Virginia, some pretty brave

people, comrades, were attacked and at least one killed by a cowardly piece of shit Nazi. So earlier today we

sent out a link to a verified go-fund me to raise money for the medical bills

and we'll put that in this episode's description as well.

Obviously we are going to talk about this later in the week but for now I will just

read a couple lines here from Bertold Brecht.

To call for the overthrow of the existing order may seem a terrible thing.

But what exists is no order.

And so in a certain sense the conversations you're about to hear are as relevant as ever because

what we're talking about is building a strong internationalist left and linking up struggles in this

country to the same fight that's happening all over the world.

The guy in our first interview George from France, he talks about the the far right bestids of the National Front

and so on. We've got our own right-wing bastards in this country and I think we always to the people who

stood in harm's way today to fight them here and there and any way we can.
