I'm Mike Levy, and today I'm talking to Aaron Gwynn,

one of the fastest World Cup downhill races our sport has ever seen, a guy who's won on many different kinds of bikes. I'm talking to Aaron Gwyn, one of the fastest World Cup downhill races our sport has ever

seen, a guy who's won on many different kinds of bikes, sometimes without a chain, and someone

who also plays a big role in development of new bikes and components.

All right, Aaron, before we get into this podcast, I'm used to calling you in sunny California,

where intense is just down the road, but that's not

where you are right now? Where the heck are you? And what are you doing there? We are actually up here

at our place in Montana. We spend pretty much as much time here as we can during the summertime.

We got good rotting, good training, close by a big sky. And so pretty much any time we get a break in the summer,

for the last couple of years, we head out here, and this is pretty much where we like to be in the

summertime. So we also spent a lot of time here, like right when the season's over in the fall

before the snow kind of comes in and all that. So yeah, man, we had a three-week break after Leo gang.

So we went back to Tennessee, which is kind of we split time between here and there for a

couple days, kind of checked in on a few of the projects we had gone there, made sure everything

was good, and then we jetted up here to spend the rest of the couple of weeks.

So we got another five or six days here before we fly to Switzerland.

So just getting in training and just really enjoying hanging out.

Nice. What's the riding like there? And do you do testing there as well too?

Yeah, for sure. The riding here is actually pretty good. We got a lot of different stuff.

Like if you're on a trail bike or an e-bike, you know, you can do a lot of the big adventure rides out in the mountains out here.

There's a lot of like multipurpose stuff that you can really kind of do some real big rides if you want.
