What does it mean to worship God?

Is worship different than praise?

Today I will share three things I'm learning about worship and how it extends beyond our prayers and music,

and how we can come before the God of the universe and say,

Thank you for joining me today on the Sheeproos' Faple podcast.

I want you to know that if you are in the Denver area on October 1st, 2016, we are having

a women's training day at New City Church here in Denver.

That's the church that my husband and I are part of. And about once a quarter, we have a women's training day at New City Church here in Denver. That's the church that my husband and I are

part of. And about once a quarter, we have a women's training day where we invite the women

from our church and the local area to hear truth and encouragement, to spur them on in love,

in good deeds, and to fear and love the Lord with all their hearts, mind, soul, and

strength. It's kind of like our little discipleship program. It's not a program, but a little

opportunity to encourage women in discipleship so that they can grow in the grace and knowledge

of the Lord in kind of a feminine way.

And this time we are talking about a topic that is near and dear to my heart for all the wrong

reasons, but control. Straight up, control versus trusting and God. And I don't know about you,

but I think most women struggle with control.

And if you've walked into my house or seen me talk to my husband, you know that I have issues.
