is covering a topic that you might find pretty similar to something we've discussed

on the show before in an episode called Over the Fence. It concerns missing time, but it's

a little different than what we talked about before. After episode nine came out, a few

people reached out suggesting that maybe chance hit his head and had some kind of amnesia.

That did not make any sense to me for a few different reasons, but the most obvious

one is that I've been hitting ahead many times. I've been knocked unconscious and let

me tell you firsthand experience. When that happens, you wake up and you're very aware

that something happened to you. But because today's episode concerns a similar topic,

I thought that maybe it would be best to bring on an expert who knows quite a bit about

amnesia and ask them some questions about what it is, how it works, what type of trauma

would be required to cause such extreme cases of amnesia, and if it makes any sense as

an explanation for what happened to these people. So you're about to meet that person
