This is episode 13, Matthew 14 through 15, Mark 6 through 7, John 5 through 6, be not afraid.

It seems like it's been forever since we chatted last, but it's actually only been a week.

So I don't know why it seemed like the longest week ever.

But if you can remember way back to last week, I had a competition and very few people entered

the competition.

So I guess $12 isn't as important to you guys on Venmo as it is to me.

But the winner was Trisha Haney.

And I asked for parables that you found in your daily life or your kids found in their

daily lives.

And I thought this was very nice.

I'm going to summarize a little bit.

But basically what she was saying was that she lives in the greater Kansas City area and

there's been some record flooding in Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa.

And so since she didn't have to work, she went in to help with some sandbagging efforts.

And she was just talking about how the sandbagging reminded her a lot of our efforts in the church

and in our lives.
