It's our pleasure to welcome the excellence Mike Pozner to the show.

We spoke with Mike in early December 2018 and it was great to get a bit of time with him.

He's such an inspirational guy, isn't he?

Yeah, I mean he's still only 30, but has achieved more in the last decade or so than a lot of artists manage across an entire career.

I mean he's been amazingly prolific across a number of fields, recording, songwriting, record production, poetry, spoken word, podcasting, and he's also a

very wise and thoughtful person who's always looking to improve himself, so we're just very

grateful for the opportunity to pick his brains.

Yeah, I think he's like doing a walk across America or something this year as well, spending the whole year on the road.

He's always expanding his horizons, isn't he?

He is, like us. Our guest was born in 1988 in Detroit, Michigan and

raised in the northern suburb of Southfield. His parents weaned him on Motown

but he later developed a love for hip-hop, rock, and jazz.

He began rapping when he was eight, started playing the drums in the fourth grade, and began

making beats on his parents' computer when he was 13.
