Thanks for joining. Today, we're reading Mark 14, but before we dive in, I need to go over some housekeeping details.

We've had a ton of new friends jumping in this summer. And as we wrap up the

book of Mark in the next couple days, it's definitely a great time to think about who else might

want to read the Bible with us and invite them to join. Even if you're a few days or weeks behind

and you're listening to this later in the year, I'd still encourage you to invite some friends

to read along

with us. Y'all can do the plan at your own pace as a group. Now is also a good time to pick up

a new journal. They're finally out and on Amazon. If you were reading along throughout the first

half of the year, your journal's most definitely out of pages, or if you want to start journaling, now you don't

have to waste half a book.

Just search, join the Journey Journal, Volume 2 on Amazon.

For me personally, I'm easily distracted when I read my Bible or pray.

So writing down my study notes and writing out my prayers really helps me stay engaged as I

seek to meet with the Lord.

And the journal gives you some prompts to aid you in Bible study, some additional helpful

resources, and space to record your prayers. It's always neat to flip back and see how God

answered them later on. Whether you're journaling along with us, reading the daily divos online,

or just listening to the podcast, I'm glad we're all reading our Bibles together.

Because at the end of the day, that's the goal of join the journey.

Not that you'd buy something or listen to me, but that we'd create tools to help you regularly get into God's Word with your community of believers.
