On this episode of Newt's World, one of my personal heroines is K-James.

She has a quintessentially American life story.

She grew up in poverty with a family on welfare and abusive alcoholic father, with a loving

mother and extended family that helped raise her and encouraged her education.

She is the embodiment of the great gift who are given by our founders and the values

and principles that allow us all to overcome and rise up and live the American dream.

She is a conservative because of her background.

I'm pleased to welcome my guest, K-James.

As president of the Heritage Foundation, America's premier conservative think tank, K-Leads

is a team devoted to promoting America's core values.

K- is an extensive background in crafting public policy and leading in nearly every sector

of America's economy.

She has worked at the local, state, and federal levels of government under the administration's

of former US president George H. W. Bush, former Virginia governor George Allen, and former

US president George W. Bush.

And is also served dozens of organizations in the corporate and nonprofit arenas.

K has a passion for serving the youth of America and substantial experience in the field

of education.

I am delighted to have somebody I've known and admired for many, many years join us today.
