It is Day 5 Guide Day Edition.

We did a dozen of these last year where we took some of the top guides from around the

country, from Florida to California.

We did a little salt water.

We did bass.

We did clown knife fish.

Primarily bass, though.

And one of these, this whole kind of episodes started a couple years ago.

This is a day five guide day show today.

A couple years ago, I got a DM from a dude down in Texas. And he was like, man, I watch the show, I listen to the show. You got to come down here. I got like an open day. We're doing some pretty unique stuff, some pretty cool stuff. So I go down and I talked about it on the show. It was Brandon Burks. And at the time, you know, he had a boat. He had a nine inch like Gen 1, uh, Larancie was working with. And he was scoping these giants in a way that I had never seen super unique. I drove seven hours overnight, no sleep, got in the boat with them. We had two bites. I missed one. And then I caught an

eight pounder. But the way he was doing it, I was like, dude, this guy knows his stuff. And it's kind of a once in a lifetime. So then I kind of started thinking, I was like, man, like, you see the pictures of the fish. You show the pictures of the fish and stuff. But people who come down and like experience it and do it.
