The 10-year anniversary of what is known as the DC Earthquake, even though the epicenter

of the earthquake was in Virginia, how arrogant of DC to call the earthquake the DC earthquake

when it was Virginia's earthquake, but no doubt DC was affected. The Washington Monument

was damaged big time. The National Cathedral was damaged big time. I was on my couch watching

TV in my one bedroom condo when the earthquake happened shortly before 2 p.m. 10 years ago.

My first thought was, do I have the laundry machine on? Because sometimes when that bad

boy was going, you could feel the vibrations, but these vibrations kept going. And going.

And going. And after a while, these vibrations were not the good vibrations that Marky Mark

and the funky bunch told me about years ago. And as the vibrations went on, I said to

myself, I would like for this to stop. And eventually, the vibrations did stop. And here

we are now, 10 years later, commemorating the 10-year anniversary of a magnitude 5.8 earthquake.

People in California must think that we're such whooses. Anyway, hello and welcome to

party did go down. Oh, did it go down on Saturday? The dual birthday party in the

Galdi household for my son, who actually today turns four and my daughter, who on Friday

turned one. Many of you asked me if I dressed up for the party. The answer is yes. I dressed

up modestly. My wife, to my surprise, ordered me a spider-man shirt. So I wore that for

the party. I told you on Saturday's show, episode 127, that while the theme of the party

was superheroes, my son's most favorite thing actually is landscaping stuff. You know,

lawn mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, et cetera. He has fascinated it by those things. Those
