I'm Joe Kanya with me as always as Eric Schlett from USA Today, Lions Wire, and this is the official Lions podcast of USA Today, Lions Warrior. Eric, seasons kind of in peril at this point. We recorded before we all learned the news on Sunday morning |
| 0:21.8 | that Matthew Stafford was not going to play against the Bears due to his back injuries, |
| 0:26.4 | broken back, and we'll probably talk about that a little bit when we get going. Team lost to Chicago |
| 0:31.6 | 20 to 13. So let's dig right into it. We'll talk about all that. Of course, we'll start with the injuries. |

| 1:08.8 | We were, you know, we barely paid much attention to the injury |
| 1:12.8 | report, um, with him because all the news was optimistic. He said it was, he was optimistic. And then, um, |
| 1:20.9 | all of a chain of events happened on, on Friday, starting with a, uh, MRI that revealed a potential fracture. |
| 1:31.8 | But apparently... |
| 1:32.1 | One fracture or multiple fractures? |
| 1:34.9 | That's a good question. |
| 1:36.2 | I don't think they've clarified that. |
| 1:39.0 | And then, you know, this, apparently it's the type of injury that is not a you all you might be able to |
