Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of the Phil Crafts Survival Podcast.

I'm your host Mike and if you listen to this more than likely it's the 4th of July or just right after the 4th of July.

So happy Independence Day. If you guys don't know what Independence Day is it's July 4, 1776 is a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and really the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.

And when I think about the 4th of July I think about all the freedoms that were afforded and the great country that we live in.

I see every morning when I wake up the news, the media and everything twisted and turned out inside out sometimes.

But it reminds me of how free we are and how based on the amendments based on the constitutional rights of this country for every citizen that we're able to express ourselves the way we are and do the things that we do on a daily basis without the threat of tyranny or the threat of violence in most cases.

And so when people go out and they celebrate Independence Day with fireworks with barbecue and in celebrating freedom.

I just want them to always think about the sacrifice of the men and women who serve in our military and our government contracting that make those sacrifices every single day.

The past and the present need to be acknowledged. World War II, Korea, Vietnam, even the small conflicts in between.

I want to say personally thank you to all the men and women who have served this country and who continue to serve this country overseas.

I know just recently we lost a few guys intense special forces group including an EOD tech.

And I say we because I served intense special forces group as a team sergeant as an operations sergeant of a sniper haloed attachment and part of my heart and special operations lies there with those men and those women who serve our country overseas.

So thank you. Thank you so much for giving us that opportunity to have the freedom that we have today because of you.
