Would you join me and bow your heads in word of prayer?

Lord, yes, we are prone to wander, Lord.

And many of us that are going through some things,

and maybe we have a lot of worries and anxious, anxiousness, anxiety, Lord.

But your word tells us not to worry about that,

not to be anxious for the worries of tomorrow, Lord. We got enough problems today, Lord,

but Lord, would you give us peace because you're the only one that can give us peace that surpasses all understanding, Lord?

And we need for you to give us peace this morning to quiet our spirits, Lord, and pull us close to you, Lord. And we need for you to give us peace this morning to quiet our spirits, Lord.

And pull us close to you, Lord, that we may not miss what you have for us this morning in your word.

So thank you for this time together. And Lord, we lift up our pastor to you, Lord.

Continue to give him encouragement, Lord, and strength and protection as he stands up here and preaches your word, Lord. In Jesus name, friend.
