When it comes to receiving the gift of tongues,

I know David in your book you also go through the four R's

on receiving the gift of tongues.

I remember when I was studying and I got this revelation how in the book of Acts

chapter 2, the apostles, when the Holy Spirit came upon them, that the Bible says that he

filled them in the house that they were sitting. Like it really, like I used to think this,

is they were all praying for 10 days or these days that they were waiting.

So they were on their knees, pressing in, because you know, like I watched these videos and these movies about what the apostles were doing.

But the Bible says actually that when the Holy Spirit came upon them, they were in a sitting, sitting pose, meaning they were relaxed.

They were not even on their knees from what we see is they were sitting.

They were pretty much in the house.

I don't know if they were having a conversation or what was going on, whether they had a prayer

and the Holy Spirit just came upon them.

And I believe so many people put so much striving and so much stress in trying to get this gift of tongues without realizing that in receiving this gift,

all they have to do is just release the very gift of the Holy Spirit that they already have.

Could you speak into that? How can somebody receive the gift of speaking in tongues?
