Each week, I'll review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King and the chronological order of publication.

And this week, I am doing a deep dive into the wastelands in context of the greater dark tower in a bonus episode.

So just so you know, I'm re-recording the introduction to this episode because all of my

old episodes when they originally recorded had music on licensed music. And because Velcro

Fly played so heavily into the wastelands, that is the song that kicked open this particular

episode. And I begin the portion of my review and my thoughts on the Dark Tower

in talking about how awesome Velcro Fly is.

So once you hear me talking about a song that never showed up on this episode, that's

the reason why.

Here we go, everyone. Velcro Fly by Zizi Top. Seriously, though, with those drums,

I am so glad that Stephen King chose this song to have Ludd revolve around.

I mean, it's such a strange and weird, just another example of what makes the Wastelands

and the rest of the Dark Tower series just so fun to read. I couldn't even imagine going towards

this futuristic, crumbling, ruined city and

hearing the sounds of Zizi Top bring about war and destruction and death all the time. Anyway,
