Hey, Pinkers, and welcome back to yet another Pink Bike podcast. I'm Mike Levy, and I'm going to start this off with a few questions for you.

Would you walk under a ladder? Would you feel a bit weird about

breaking a mirror? Or do you ever knock on wood? If you look up the word superstition, most

definitions talk about being fearful of unfounded consequences or maybe believing in something

that doesn't seem logical, which is kind of right up my alley. So other definitions

actually say that being superstitious is being irrational, which is maybe a bit too far, depending

on your point of view, but I'm willing to bet that most of us would avoid walking under that

ladder or breaking that mirror, and I'm pretty sure that almost all of us have knocked on wood

at some point in our lives. Michael Kazimer, would you go out of your way to not walk under a ladder?

And the reason I ask, before you answer, you seem like such a level-headed person. You don't

believe in UFOs, so on and so forth. What happens when there's a ladder?

Would you not go under it? I would go under a ladder. I don't think I'd go out of my way. But I think if a

black cat crossed my path, I might be like, ooh, that could be bad luck. So I wouldn't want that.

Well, you know, but I like cats. Really? A black cat. Yeah cats yeah well sometimes I think about that I think it's more

that I just think about that superstition but it wouldn't like change my day I wouldn't be like oh no

and have to like say 12 Hail mailers marries or whatever you need to do to get rid of like bad juju

I don't really know the rules for these things but yeah I'm not afraid of walking under ladders
