Derek is actually in LA this week on business, so he's not able to be with us today.

And I want to, before we get rolling, I want to acknowledge, dear listener, the lack of an

episode last week.

So we recorded one, Marty, Derek, Emily, and I

recorded one. And it was great. And we didn't post it because of travel, sicknesses. A lot of

things happened that prevented it. So we apologize. We're not going to make a habit of it,

but we are back. But basically,

here's what you missed. Last week, we talked about that Derek and Marty and I were going to go

to Montana the next day for five days off the grid as Derek and I and Jesse and prop do every year.

Jesse wasn't going to be there this year. It was Marty's first trip.

So we were talking about that, helping him prep.

Now he has been on the trip.

You guys did not help me prep at all.
