Hello and welcome to another Freudian episode of We Only Look Thin. I am your super ego host,

0:26.0

Catherine Weigel, and with me today is my egotistical husband. No, I'm all id. I am all

0:34.8

in, 100%. This is, and I'm all in as well. Who are you? This is Donald Weigel. I am all it, 100%. This is, and I'm all in as well. Who are you? This is Donald Wigel. I am your husband. I am your

0:43.4

weight loss and fitness partner and I am 50% of we only look thin and I've lost about 100 pounds.

0:51.3

Congratulations. Thank you. And I've kept it off for pretty close to two and a half years now.

0:55.9

That's amazing. I'm actually almost on three years. I think it'll be, we're going to do a maintenance

1:00.9

episode soon, but yeah, three years. I kind of lose track of time. It all happens so fast and so

1:07.6

slow. It only took 45 years. It goes so quickly. It's so quickly. Oh, fun times. No, but I

1:14.7

always get dates wrong. I'm like, how long have you been maintaining a day? I don't know.

1:19.9

Like, what is maintenance? Nobody knows. Yeah, no one has heard of that. But I'm very bad at details

1:25.8

in terms of when things happened. Like Like I would hate to be someone who was

1:29.7

interviewed like for an autobiography because they're like, did you even live your own life?

1:34.8

Because nothing that you're saying actually makes sense. There's no timeline. I keep, we have a

1:41.3

Google photo frame thing that shows pictures. and I have all of these ideas in

1:46.3

my head about times that I lost a lot of weight and then I see pictures and I'm like, did I ever

1:51.9

lose weight? Because it seems like I, well, I did, but like I lost 100 pounds. Did you? Because

1:58.8

the pictures really don't look like it. So pictures don't say all the

2:02.9

things. Words say the things. And writing down things says the things. Yeah, I know we're not actually

2:07.7

doing a tip of the week, but maybe a tip of the week is like if you do get when, I should say,

2:14.2

when you get to your goal weight, look at pictures of yourself on a regular basis from beforehand.

2:20.3

It's a nice deterrent.

2:21.3

We have photos of ourselves 100 pounds, 150 pounds heavier, scrolling through our living room.
